Je commence à en avoir plein mon casque de ces accomodements raisonables. Quand c'est rendu que notre bonne vieille Cabane à Sucre en est un lieu visé, c'est le "boute du boute"!

Si y a bein une place qui est sacrée au Québec c'est la Cabane à Sucre!? Elle fait partie de notre folklore, de nos souvenirs de jeunesse, typiquement à nous!
Sommes-nous trop tolérants!?!? Trop accomodants? Pisoux!?
Je ne suis pas raciste et je suis fiers que d'autres communautés ethniques se joignent à nous pour s'intégrer à nos habitudes, nos coutumes, notre style de vie...mais y a des limites non!?
Seraient-ils si accomodants envers nous si on tenteraient de s'intégrer à eux!?

Moi qui croyais que les musulmans préféraient prier dans l'intimité.. pas sur une piste de danse en plein milieu de gens qui sont en train de s'empiffrer oreilles de criss..
J'ai des amis qui sont musulmans, et qui sont venus à la cabane à sucre à quelques reprises avec ma famille et mes amis... Et ils n'ont jamais fait de commentaire sur le repas... La plupart du temps les cabane à sucre offre le format "buffet" alors tu te sert de ce que tu veux.. et c'est ce qu'ils ont fait... Ils ont mangé beaucoup de crèpes, d'omelette et de grand-pères au sirop d'érable.. laissant de côté le jambon, les saucisses et les oreilles de criss.. Et ils ont adoré leur expérience.. Leur petit gars aussi.. WOW ce que du sirop peut faire à un enfant déjà actif!! hihihi!!
Je ne connais pas les détails de l'histoire, mais est-ce que le proprio a eu peur du groupe !?! je crois que toute cette histoire prends des proportions démesurées... et que les gens ont juste peur de passer pour des racistes, alors que selon moi, c'est juste du gros bon sens de dire qu'un restaurant c'est pas un lieu de culte.. qu'un restaurant a un menu, tu choisi ce qui te plait, tu laisse ce qui ne te plait pas.. et qu'une cabane à sucre c'est comme un resto!

Ca pas de sens!! Mais ou ca va s'arrêter tout ca. Je commence à en avoir assez! Moi je choisis mon resto par rapport à ce que je veux manger. Si je veux de la viande, je n'irai pas dans un resto typiquement végétarien. Pourquoi eux ils peuvent avoir tout ce qu'ils désirent. Enough is enough!

Je pense que que le propriétaire de la cabane à sucre est le seul fautif. Le group musulman est de 250 personnes qui ont reserver a l'avance ce qui est correct, comme qqun qui reserverait une salle de mariage.
Le propriétaire pour de l argent a tout melangé.

Afin de répondre à la demande au niveau des salles, le propriétaire nous a proposé de libérer la salle à dîner et en contrepartie nous aurions la salle commune sans musique pendant quelques minutes, le temps de finir notre prière.

Comme convenu, le propriétaire a demandé l'arrêt de la musique et nous avions célébré notre prière dans le respect des quelques quinze personnes non musulmanes qui étaient assises dans la salle. La musique a repris juste après la prière. Avant et après la prière, nous avions eu des discussions très sympathiques avec plusieurs, sinon la plupart, des personnes présentes et qui tenaient à s'informer sur la prière en Islam. Nous les remercions pour leur ouverture et compréhension.
